The Images in this quilt came from a book by Walter Dean Martin. He found black and white photographs in garage sales, old stores and homes and kept them to create an historical photo book of discarded and unknown individuals. Some of them are well known today, others are forgotten people from long ago. This is a very strong book that gave me an inspiration to create a very strong art piece.
